Electrical Design Engineer, Special Machines, EPLAN P8 (m/f/d)

You plan the electrical engineering of our special machines – from concept to finished schematic – and make sure cabinet manufacturing and commissioning work on a solid basis. Berlin, Barleben near Magdeburg or remote, starting immediately.

Your responsibilities

• Develop electrical and control concepts for special machines
• Size and engineer electrical components, control cabinets and periphery
• Create schematics in EPLAN P8, implement customer standards, maintain your own macros
• Evaluate safety functions with SISTEMA and contribute to the risk assessment
• Create pneumatic diagrams in EPLAN P8
• Prepare documentation to applicable standards and order components
• Clarify technical details with customers and suppliers

What you bring

• Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or comparable
• Professional experience in electrical design with EPLAN P8
• A plus: experience with automotive customer standards, e.g. BMW TMO/GSC
• Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of teamwork
• Very good German, good English
• Willingness to attend occasional meetings at customers and suppliers
