Plant Simulation
Description
With a digital model of the plant we test the control software before mechanics and electrics are finished. This shortens on-site commissioning, makes sequences discussable early and can later be reused for training and changes.
Features
- Building the simulation model from CAD data, sequence description and electrical schematics
- Virtual commissioning with real PLC (hardware-in-the-loop) or emulated controller
- Tools: Siemens Process Simulate, ISG-virtuos, Emulate3D, depending on the environment
- Securing cycle time, material flow and collision-free operation before manufacturing
- Testing of safety functions and fault scenarios without risk
- Reuse of the model for operator training and later modifications
Industries
- Automotive and supplier industry
- Mechanical and plant engineering
- Intralogistics
- Electronics and device manufacturing
