Software Engineer, Special Machines, Simulation and Commissioning (m/f/d)

You develop the control software for our special machines, test it on the virtual model and commission it on the real machine. Berlin, Barleben or remote, starting immediately – for entry-level candidates as well as experienced professionals.

Your responsibilities

• Develop software and control concepts
• Program PLC software – also for NC, robot or PC applications
• Build simulation models of plants
• Commission, test and validate control technology on the virtual model and on the real machine
• Deliver training and take on service assignments
• Create documentation, e.g. operating manuals
• Clarify technical details with customers and suppliers
• The scope is deliberately broad – you don't have to cover everything, we shape it around your interests.

What you bring

• Degree or vocational training in automation technology, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or comparable
• A plus: first experience with PLC programming and commissioning, preferably Siemens TIA Portal
• A plus: first experience with plant simulation, preferably fe.screen-sim
• Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of teamwork
• Willingness to work on site at customers, category B driving licence
